On an island in the Havel, in a 19th-century red-brick complex.
Our workshop sits on Eiswerder, a 14-hectare island in the River Havel.
Eiswerder belongs to Berlin's Spandau district and is reached by two bridges. The red brick buildings were once Prussian munitions factories, later West-Berlin's strategic stockpile, then film studios run by Artur Brauner — Romy Schneider and David Bowie were filmed here.
Today the island is shared between flats, artists' studios, media companies — and a handful of workshops, ours among them. It suits what we do: old substance, well kept, kept in use.
We come to your place, take a look together at what's needed. The appointment costs nothing.
